Using the site

WuTangName is provided free of charge, as-is, for entertainment. You may use your generated names for nicknames, teams, characters and social profiles. The generator’s output comes from a generic word table and carries no ownership claim from us.

The site may display advertising and may change its word table or features at any time. Generated history stored in your browser may be lost if you clear site data.

Trademarks

Wu-Tang Clan is a trademark of its respective owner. WuTangName is a fan-made tribute with no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. Do not use generated names in ways that suggest an official connection to the clan — a nickname among friends is fine; branding a product is not.

Liability

The service is entertainment. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of generated names, including band names that later require legal review. For anything commercial, do your own trademark search first.

Fair use of the generator

The site is served from static hosting and tolerates normal use, including group batches. Automated scraping of the word tables at volume is unnecessary — the tables are visible on the meanings page by design — and hammering the site with bots degrades it for everyone. Be a good member of the cypher.
